Missions at Harvest

I will give thanks to Thee, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to Thee among the nations. For Thy lovingkindness is great to the heavens, And Thy truth to the clouds. Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Thy glory be above all the earth.

From these verses and many others it is clear that God desires people from every tribe and tongue and nation to worship Him. And He has given the church the responsibility and privilege to reach out to the world. Realizing this, missions at Harvest is one of our passions.


Missionaries

Harvest supports missionaries in the following ministries and countries:
Church planting in Brazil, Mozambique, Slovakia
Bible translation
Aviation ministry in Brazil and worldwide
Medical ministry in Togo
National pastors in India and Ukraine
Ministry in restricted access countries

We also support the following organizations as part of our missions program.

Support Teams

Goals
1. To create a greater focus on missions
2. To create a direct focus on our missionaries
3. To give a direct way for people to "be involved" with our missionaries

Responsibilities of Each Support Team
1. Pray faithfully for your missionary.
2. Communicate with the missionary on a consistent basis.
3. Give the missionary update during the evening service
4. Send Cards or Emails to the missionary and family.
5. Report prayer needs that you may become aware of to the church secretary to be
included on the prayer sheet.
6. Report financial needs that you may become aware of to the missions committee.
7. Provide housing and meals for the missionary when visiting Harvest
8. Be excited about the ministry of your missionary.

Applying for Support

Thank you for your interest in the missions ministry of Harvest Baptist Church. We recognize and support four types of missions activities: sent missionaries, supported missionaries, national missionaries, and institutes. We currently support several missionaries and institutions around the world through our missions ministry.

However, we are not presently taking on additional long term missionary support at this time. We currently have several missionaries who are under supported and we are committed to making sure that our current missionaries have the funds that they need before we take on someone else. Please do not send us a packet of information as you can better use that for another church. Thanks.
